Our complete experience on the Similan Islands Tour – A paradise setting

  • Koh Similan (Island No. 8) – The main island of the archipelago, home to the famous Sail Rock. Take a short hike to the viewpoint and relax on the white sandy beach with crystal-clear waters.
  • Koh Bangu (Island No. 9) – One of the best snorkeling spots in the archipelago, known for its preserved reefs and great marine biodiversity.
  • Koh Miang (Island No. 4) – A paradise island with crystal-clear waters, where the lunch stop occurs and there is free time to relax on the beach or go snorkeling.
  • Koh Ha or Koh Hok (Islands No. 5 and 6) – Excellent spot for snorkeling and observing marine life, with crystal-clear waters and preserved coral reefs.

The Similan archipelago is truly spectacular, but it is located a great distance from Phuket. The boarding pier for Similan is approximately 2 hours by van from the tourist area of Phuket, and the boat trip to the archipelago takes about 1h30.

It is essential to consider this travel time when choosing the tour, as the journey can be tiring both ways.

Similan Island, in Thailand, is closed for visitation annually from May to October. The closure is made to recover the marine ecosystem.

In these cases, it will not be possible to request that the guide wait, arrange another meeting point, or join the tour after the activities have started.

▶ Rain does not constitute a cancellation condition

The occurrence of rain does not constitute a cancellation condition. Thailand has a tropical climate, and it is common for quick rains to occur throughout the day, especially during the monsoon season. Tours continue to operate normally in case of rain, as long as safety conditions allow for their execution.

▶ Maritime Tours

Maritime operations follow exclusively the daily assessments of the Thai Navy, responsible for issuing official guidance on navigation, safety, and sea stability. Only in the case of a formal alert of adverse maritime conditions may the tour be suspended, altered, or rescheduled.

The occurrence of rain at the hotel, in the departure city, or during part of the route does not necessarily mean that the tour will be canceled. Weather conditions can vary significantly between regions, islands, and maritime areas.

Tours are subject to the operational and safety conditions defined by the local operator responsible for the activity. In case of changes, interruptions, or non-continuation of the tour, the applicable guidance and procedures will be communicated directly by the responsible team on-site.

If there is an official determination that prevents the departure of vessels, our team will contact you to inform the applicable procedures. In case of cancellation by the operator (e.g., operational issues or force majeure), a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost will be offered.

People with mobility limitations must inform us in advance before booking. Some boat tours may not be recommended or allowed, according to the rules and operational conditions of the companies responsible for navigation and boarding.

For safety reasons and according to the rules of local operators, pregnant women and people over 70 years old cannot participate in tours conducted on speedboats.

▶ Holiday Dates and Refund Conditions

New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, and Lantern Festival do not have refunds, even in case of full payment.

Other dates may be included according to the local calendar. In cases that fall under these exceptions, there will be no refund.

Additionally, attractions, temples, monuments, parks, and visitation areas may have access limited, suspended, or altered by local authorities without prior notice due to religious ceremonies, official events, celebrations, visits from authorities, weather conditions, or other events beyond the agency's control.

In these situations, our team may make adaptations to the itinerary, change the order of visits, or propose compatible alternatives, always seeking to preserve the best possible experience for participants.

▶ Participant Conduct

The company reserves the right to remove from the tour any participant who exhibits inappropriate, offensive, aggressive behavior, jeopardizes the safety of the group, or fails to comply with the team's guidance. In these cases, there will be no refund of the amounts paid.
