Our complete experience on the Ayutthaya Tour in Portuguese

Founded in 1350, Ayutthaya was the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam and stood out for centuries as a center of political power, international trade, and diplomacy. Between the 14th and 18th centuries, it became one of the most developed cities in the world, with advanced urban planning, monumental temples, and a sophisticated hydraulic system.

In 1767, the city was invaded and destroyed by the Burmese army. Since then, it has become an important archaeological site. The preserved ruins include prangs (reliquary towers), Buddhist monasteries, sculptures, and structures that reveal the size and grandeur of the ancient capital.

Ayutthaya is located in the province of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, about 80 km from Bangkok, and occupies a protected area of 289 hectares, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO. Visiting Ayutthaya is to walk through a city that, even in ruins, still impresses with the strength of its history and architectural beauty.

Wat Mahathat

Considered the spiritual heart of Ayutthaya, it is famous for housing the image of the head of Buddha among the roots of a tree. The temple impresses with the history it carries and the ruins that show the grandeur of the ancient city.

Wat Phanang Choeng

Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan is one of the most important and active Buddhist temples in Ayutthaya, founded in 1324, even before the city was created. Unlike the historical ruins in the region, it remains alive and functioning as a spiritual center for Thai and Chinese communities.

The highlight is the statue Luang Pho Tho, 19 meters tall, one of the largest and oldest in Thailand, representing Buddha in the position of enlightenment. Over the centuries, it has received restorations from kings and has become a symbol of great religious importance.

The temple also represents a strong cultural fusion between Thailand and China.

Wat Lokkayasutharam

Home to one of the largest reclining Buddhas in Thailand, measuring 37 meters long and 8 meters high. A place for contemplation and also one of the most photographed by tourists. This statue was one of the inspirations for a scene in the video game Street Fighter, made for the player Sagat, known in the game as the Emperor of Muay Thai, the Thai martial art.

Wat Chai Watthanaram

Temple built between 1630 and 1650, inspired by Khmer architecture. Its towers resemble the famous temples of Angkor Wat and its ruins are among the most impressive in Ayutthaya.

The order of visits may change as needed, always respecting the conditions of the day.

✅ We recommend wearing t-shirts or blouses with sleeves, long dresses, long pants, or skirts below the knees. Light and comfortable clothing, preferably in fabrics like cotton and linen.

❌ Sleeveless clothing, tank tops, shorts, short skirts, or items that leave shoulders or knees exposed may prevent access to the attractions.

Wear easy-to-remove shoes, as it will be necessary to take them off in some temples.

We recommend hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses for protection against the sun.

▶ Rain does not constitute a cancellation condition

Tours continue to operate normally in case of rain, as long as safety conditions allow for their execution.

Maritime operations follow exclusively the daily assessments of the Thai Navy, responsible for issuing official guidelines on navigation, safety, and sea stability. Only in the case of a formal alert of adverse maritime conditions may the tour be suspended, altered, or rescheduled.

The occurrence of rain at the hotel, in the departure city, or during part of the route does not necessarily mean that the tour will be canceled. Weather conditions can vary significantly between regions, islands, and maritime areas.

Tours are subject to operational and safety conditions defined by the local operator responsible for the activity. In case of changes, interruptions, or non-continuation of the tour, applicable guidelines and procedures will be communicated directly by the responsible team on site.

If there is an official determination that prevents the departure of vessels, our team will contact you to inform you of the applicable procedures. In case of cancellation by the operator (e.g., operational issues or force majeure), a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost will be offered.

People with mobility limitations must inform us in advance before booking. Some boat tours may not be recommended or allowed, according to the rules and operational conditions of the companies responsible for navigation and boarding.

For safety reasons and according to the rules of local operators, pregnant women and people over 70 years old cannot participate in tours conducted on speedboats.

▶ Holiday Dates and Refund Conditions

New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, and Lantern Festival do not have refunds, even in case of full payment.

Other dates may be included according to the local calendar. In cases that fall under these exceptions, there will be no refund.

In addition, attractions, temples, monuments, parks, and visitation areas may have access limited, suspended, or altered by local authorities without prior notice due to religious ceremonies, official events, celebrations, visits from authorities, weather conditions, or other occurrences beyond the agency's control.

In these situations, our team may make adaptations to the itinerary, change the order of visits, or propose compatible alternatives, always seeking to preserve the best possible experience for participants.

    ▶ Participant Conduct

The company reserves the right to remove from the tour any participant who displays inappropriate, offensive, aggressive behavior, jeopardizes the safety of the group, or disregards the team's guidelines. In these cases, there will be no refund of the amounts paid.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact our team via WhatsApp.
