Introduction
Reveillon in Thailand 2027 Official Tickets
Among all the ways to celebrate the New Year in Thailand, none is as symbolic as the Reveillon in Chiang Mai. Inspired by the famous Lantern Festival, the event blends spirituality, local culture, and impeccable organisation, all in one memorable night.
The celebration takes place in the grand Chiang Mai, starting at around 5:30 PM. Participants are welcomed with cultural activities, finger foods, and snacks in a Lanna-style scenic village. At 7 PM, dinner is served: a full Thai buffet, with non-alcoholic beverages and various typical options.
The artistic programme is a highlight in itself. Starting at 9 PM, in the Pagoda Zone, musical and cultural performances begin. The climax occurs at 11:45 PM, with the release of the lanterns, in a collective ritual of renewal and intentions for the new year. The sky fills with light, and shortly after, a fireworks display marks the arrival of 2027.
The tickets include two lanterns per person, a full dinner, cultural shows, and round-trip transportation (with or without air conditioning, depending on the ticket category). The entire event is narrated in Portuguese by the Thailand Experience, a differentiator that helps to understand the meaning of each moment.
